Tin oxide coming from high grade metal tin (min 99,9 %). Fine microcrystalline inert powder that combines high matting property and whiteness with a high abrasive power. It is a versatile material. Its thermal stability and chemically inert nature, enables the production of a wide palette of durable ceramic colors. Also presents a high electrical conductivity with optical transparency. The main applications are identified in the field of ceramic glazes, frits and body, as well as for pigments production. Also the product has excellent performance when using it as refining additive in the manufacture of glass. Other uses known are in the area of friction products (brakes, polishing…).
